missing R

R has been in chicago for work stuff since this past saturday.  M and i are a little out of sorts because of it.  its been five nights and we have one more to go – R returns friday.

opportunity update

so,
the hour long behavioral based (bleh) interview this morning seems to have gone well.  they want to fly me to the corporate headquarters for a 4 hour face to face next week.
that means they are liking me, n’est pas?
could this be a good break for lazy? should i get excited yet? did you know there [...]

opportunity

i just had a 30 minute pre-screen call with a large corporation for work. they called 24 hours after getting my resume. seems i am still in the pipeline since they want a ‘formal’ hour phone interview monday morning at 9am.
think good thoughts.
update:  phone interview moved to tuesday morning.

meeting day

it is the third celebration of meeting day and we are too hot and too tired to do anything but eat awful china buffet and rent a movie.

meeting day is the day R and i observe as the first day we met in the bookstore in 2004.
