We made it to the Pass

Well. We made it to the beach Saturday evening just before dark. Yesterday was for settling in and orientation to our immediate surroundings.
It is SO LUSH here. Green things growing everywhere with tiny frogs hanging onto everything. Reminds me a little of Puerto Rico and those little coqui frogs that came out at night and [...]

we are headed to the ‘forgotten coast’ in the middle of several wildlife refuges for a place called indian pass….we’ll be staying at a kooky house called ‘a summer song’ about 100 yards from the beach….
it is said to be so ‘forgotten’ there that mobile phones won’t work. praise the fsm they are right. [...]

when i grow up

i want to be part of a flash mob dance troupe.  i would wear wonderful costumes and exuberate fantasticisims!

(well that last one wasn’t a flash mob, but those outfits!)
 

impromptu camping

back in the day i used to be a champion at the car camping (as opposed to the pack camping).  a few of us decided to have a revival of such this past weekend and it was just what the doctor ordered….
